Job Description

Job Purpose:

The CFO is responsible for taking on a leadership role in financial decision-making that affects the company, and will provide strategic financial input to senior management. While keenly overseeing the overall accounting process, he will play a key role in developing and implementing financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

· Execute the financial strategy of the company

· Manage financial controls and accounting procedures

· Ensure full transparency over the financial performance of the company

· Provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs

· Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner

· Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained

· Support the CEO with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans

· Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments

· Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required



• Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business


• At least ten (15) years of progressively more responsible roles in the finance function of a large organization or with the finance function ina Holding Company, 8-10 years of which is in a senior manager’s capacity. Experience in Project Finance, investment evaluation and M& A finance experience.

Professional Qualifications or Certifications (from recognized institutions or professional regulation bodies) Required, if any.

• CPA and/or CMA preferred.

Computer Skill / Proficiency:

• Proficiency in MS-Office; Up-to-date knowledge of current financial and accounting software applications.

Communication Skills Required

• Excellent oral and written communication skills; Presentation skills
